I saw those in petland discounts the other day. Looked nice but knowing the length size when they grow up. Isn't worth the young beauty..lol good buy
Funny you say that, cause my local petland discounts store had regular Svenin pikes for sale, I bought this one from "Parrots of the world" was labled as a black line pike, was the only one in a tank with some juvi alligator gars, Gonna see how this one turns out will keep updates posted'
Nice.. pick up! Something even funnier the owners of that store in long island are suppose to be very knowledgeable. They use to have a tv show on years ago about animals I guest starred on their when i was 9 year old.
I got a proven pair wild caught pikes the dwarf species but they didn't adapt to pellets or flakes well. So, they died 6 months later.
Yes the owners name & star of the show is Mark" I used to buy Exotic fish & "Hard to find" now a days!!! from him years ago, He still has a great shop some times carry's gems like this SP Pike I recently bought,
Sry to hear that, this pike seems to do well on live minos & chopped up clams, hopefully he will adapt to freeze dried krill & pellets, He will also accept frozen blood worms but prefers live food
