Average cichlid growth for a female atabapo 1. She was 6" total length when I got her, and grew about 0.5" a month. She's about 12" total length now after 2.5 years, which is average size for a female. She initially ate frozen blood worms for the first month and then I was able to transition her to soft pellets. It took about 2-3 weeks of barely eating for her to eat the soft pellets. She will eat regular pellets like Northfin, soft pellets, gel based food, and freeze dried river shrimp.
I would imagine that yours will get at least 14" long and be as thick as an adult wrist.
