One of our Japanese friends had sent me an underwater pic of the lents. I thought I had saved it. Guess not. I'll e-mail him and see if he can forwrd it to me again.

I figured it was something like that, as its not common for you to misidentify a pike...haha. Are you talkin about the high yellow variant?
 
Those things are very nice. Wont hold my breath waiting to see them become available. They look a lot like some kind of cichla, if you notice the size of the mouth and shape of the tail.

Yup... you and me both. Those are great looking pikes. For another nice pic, look in the July 2006 TFH on page 93. The thing is like lime green and orange... one nice looking pike.
