Are your celids. still doing great?! You need to get us some more pictures!!! There are definitely not enough of them on the net.

I have come to expect differently from you. . . . I suppose some bridges are easier to rebuild than others though, and am sorry that you had to get tangled in that kind of mess just to get some awesome pikes.

It is sad but keep in mind that it flows both ways. I'll leave it at that.

How ARE your lents doing? Did they ever progress any futher on the breeding? You haven't updated on them in a while either. . . . .

No further breeding acitvity. Technically their instinctual breeding season isn't for another 4-5 months. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they'll start something then. I'll try and get some pictures and post them up. The male is getting huge. I'm moving them into a new tank within the next week or so. I think some pics of him out of water next to a well known object for size comparison would be interesting. I'll see what I can do.

In some cases I'm more than sure it can. Bum deal for many people because they are missing out on some gorgeous fish.

Sounds like things are going great with the lents! !! Keep babying them, maybe we will see some babies before the next year! Are the females colors still improving?

Java ferns and anacharis are both very easy to grow.


This one is getting big quick its even got some nice orange starting on the sides.

I've had plants grow but the fish eventually dig 'em up or rip 'em off the wood.

On the video he looked like he was trying to herd the other feeder fish to keep it close while he was eating the other one.
