Pennywort would look better IMO. The smaller swords look good. I just think the big tall ones hide the great wood shelfing display and don't look quite to scale. I think getting tons of little anubias and tying them to the wood, would look amazing (though might be a lot of work)
 
I’ll definitely thin down or get rid of the swords entirely and try to source something higher up to place on the wood or floating. Thanks guys.
 
You might hold off on removing the swords and wait until they convert to their submerged growth forms. There's a good chance you will end up with a very different and possibly more diminutive looking plant.

Great point. The leaves should fall off within a few months. I really like the look of Brazilian Pennywort. May mix the two.
