What's up fellow pike enthusiasts. Just got these bad boys in from Peru. I think they are juvy C. Anthurus. What do you guys think?

I would say that's a pretty good guess. Although I don't know how juvenile they are. I'd guess that both pics represent a female of the species.

Are they for sale?
 
I already told you there were anthurus and that it had been confirmed by a few other people. :screwy:

They are definately not juv...more like subadult/adult...:D.

He's holdin two pairs for me, or at least better be, I think he has three more after that! ;) So get them while you can!! :D Definately love their colors! No idea anthurus was so hott!! OW OW!!
 
OH SNAP!!, those look nice in the sub adult phase. How long are they?

The females might be adults, but the males I'm pretty sure are just subadult because they don't have the heavy spangling typical of the males in this species...;). I think Randy said they were around 4 to 6"...;)
 
Is the white around the ocellated shoulder spot that bright or is it a result of the flash?
By the way those are very nice, How much are you paying for them Peanut, maybe I will try to outbid you. J/K:ROFL:

I've already got a set price on mine! ;) You can get a different pair...haha. They are gorgeous pikes though! Very impressive for Saxatilis indeed!!
