That is a very appealing varient of johanna. Thanks for posting. I see many simularities in these juvies as in that adult. The red tint to their dorsal fin, the vertical bars, and of course head shape.
As mentioned above baby crenicichla are very hard to ID. It would only be a guess from all of us without seeing their actual parents. But for the price these fish would be a very nice addition for anyone looking for a wild caught crenicichla.
They are very appealing and eating good. These dont seem to be as visious as some past crenicichla. But keep in mind we only have 15 left avalible.
