Crenicichla menezesi

I have to agree that they're not Cr. menezesi, and that they're all boys. Menezesi have the ocellated black blotch (the one behind the operculum) above the lateral stripe, not on it, as yours show. So, unfortunately, you don't have Menezesi, and I think you deserve a refund, because your pikes look more like Cr. lucius from the postion of the ocellated blotch and the relative lack of spangles. And Cr. lucius is a cheap fish. Nevertheless all pikes are awesome IMO, and those should turn into some great 8" long adults in a year.
 
This fish was sold to me as C. menezesi, it is a little over 2" in the photo.
