Got two young pairs from Dan-Ye about 10 months ago and lost a female soon after. I've been grow them out with a bunch of other fish to minimize potential aggression. Moved a pair to their own tank for the first time a couple of weeks ago. They've been pretty calm. The female is afraid of the male but displays to him from time to time. The male pushes the female a little bit....no serious attacks but no interest either. Well, hope for the best :)

How can he ignore such a sexy lady?!?!?

Great looking dwarves !! Dan Ye was trying to get me to buy some of these earlier this year but I held off because I feared for my school of 50+ black neons. After seeing your little clip I'm having regrets....

The extra male is living in a discus tank with a bunch of rummynose, which have been declining in number steadily. So reasonable concern ;) Black neons may survive but I wouldn't trust them with cardinals, rummynose of the like.

I had the same problem with my Cr. wallacii and rummynose ... slowly disappeared, no corpses.
