Some shots of my C. saxatilis type pair. Anyone care to take a stab at ID since my understanding is there are countless variants of sax type pikes? Male is about 8" and female is about 6".

ID= Awesomely amazing color on that male, whatever he is.

awsum pair

they're so graceful & that is accented much more, seeing them "as a pair"
:-] I'm jealous. haven't kept pikes yet.

Very nice! I think they are true saxatilis. I believe I read Vin Kutty say that true sax have the notch in the humeral blotch that yours are displaying. No matter what they are great specimens.
