It could honestly also be a Crenicichla Proteus. From pictures online they look exactly the same what is the difference?

Have mine with catfish, bush fish and bichirs. Get along. Just an idea.

Sveni will get a blotchy pattern down the body. Also get a blotchy gold spot after the gill plate. Proteus has no body markings, no gold markings and stays smaller.
