Crenicichla tankmates

I think i am going to buy this pair of Crenicichla Atabapo I red. The pair is 8-9" so can they be housed temporarily in my pond with 3 12"+ oscars and 2 azuls around 8"?

Its 670 gallon pond but my main concern is the pike not being aggressive enough, I have other tanks they can go in just involves moving stuff so it would be easier to just put them in my pond.

The pike will be just fine with those tank mates. In my experience crenicichla usually don't start fights but can certainly hold their own if provoked .

Great thanks. I kept crenicichla with oscars years ago but i raised them all from babies, never introducing large fish with other large fish so thats cool. Just a temporary home for them until i get them a 125 of their own.
