man, 1500 for a pair, screw that. I just hope someone starts breeding these bad ass pikes to bring their price down for us "normal" fish folks.

Something that I think is crap. I recently went through a similar thing with a breed of dog. Breeders making you sign contract stating that if you don't use the dog for show purposes that you had to get it spayed or nuetered or else they won't send you reg papers, also telling you who you could and could not breed them with. They say it was to keep the lines pure, I say it is about money and they don't want others breeding and selling. They had to get theirs somewhere to start their kennels.
Enough of my RANT.
Oh yeah by the way I got my dog w/ full rights and regs.
Maybe later this Fall - early Winter! I've been told prices should be lower this time around ~ we'll see! I'd be happy with one male ~ the females are not as striking....
