I always base prices on what I paid for the fish. Of course you also have to figure in size at purchase and size at sale.

I paid $8 for this fish.

(of course it was a 3" juvie at the time)

I now have 2 large females and a group of 8 more juvies - hoping for a male.

i got my 3 when they were small and i paid $25 each for them.

I bought my 2nd group of 10 juvies (about 3") from FryBabies.com for $8 as well. She does not get them very often. Fish must be expensive up North.
