Ok well it is now setup, but I have to wait till I give my gerbils away to get the crested.

Oh and here are some pics.

I still Need to get the
Screen Cover, the Gecko, And the food.

And I think I might have someone who wants the Gerbils.

I think you need to put more "branches" in there. Like take a few nice really sturdy sticks and wrap the vine across them. I know mine LOVED to run around on the branches when I had one.

The vines need some kind of support, otherwise they will all eventually make it towards the floor of the cage as the gecko crawls around them.

Exo-terra makes thick flexible branches that will support the weight of the gecko, which you then wrap your fake vines around the branches to give it a better look and add some cover. Here they are.

yea i'd get more branches.......personally i don't like the exoterra bendable ones cuz after you bend them so much in one spot they rip and expose the wire inside........it's getting good either way.......

Get a digital thermometer with two probes. The stick-on kind measure air temperature at best, which you don't want.

You can get an indoor/outdoor thermometer with a hydrometer built in at Wal-Mart for $10-$25, which a lot of people use for their vivariums.

Sorry about the thermo, that was from when it was a fish tankMy thermometer is the house temperature. I have digi readings for that, The heat lamp wont be on there when the gecko get there.

And I updated it but Im Going to add more branches

Oh and what color should the background be?

The background can be anything you want. I prefer to have a solid look to mine to give them a secure feeling of enclosurement. Others like to go with the naturalistic photo background which make the vivarium look bigger than it is.
