I think he might need to make a custom lid for it... a screen lid is better for them I believe, and the bracers are broken.

Screen lid with locks is my choice. Sorry for saying that, i will definetly nuke the wood, so would putting it in the oven then freezing it work?

giving them a really good scrub down and boiling the wood would work... or give them a wash with boiling water. Be careful though lol.

Bake them for 20-30 minutes at 325 or 350 degrees F. Let them cool down to room temperature then put them in the freezer for a day. Boiling them also work as well.

Better safe than sorry.

I voted ok since I hate artificial decor. A very naturalistic set-up with real wood and live plants would send it running into the "awesome" category.

The REAL wood just got done cooking and is in the freezer. But I dont want live plants for my crested, because i would need uv lights, and cresteds dont like light.
