Hi I was wondering if there was any thing else I can offer my Crested Geckos to eat because Crickets can become pricy. Are there any Vegetables I can lay in the tank for them to eat or any fruits? Thanks!

how about crested gecko diet (repashy makes it) i use it

Cresties do not and never will eat veggies ! ! !

Fruit and insects only.

I made my fruit mix up in bulk and froze it in ice cube trays for convenience.

I used varing types and amounts depending on what was available at the time of year, what was the most ripe and cheapest :D
I chopped and/or mashed together (ripe fruit only) these .........
banana
apple
pear
kwi
mango
papaya
blackberry

Do NOT use any citrus fruits in the mix as the crestie will probably refuse it.

I added calcium and vitamins to the mix just before placing it into icecube trays and then into the deepfreeze, simple and easy. When needed just place a frozen cube in a small dish and let it defrost before placing it in the enclosure .... the leachie and cresties just slurp it up :drool:

that mix sounds interesting... how do you give it to them?
do you hand feed or leave it over night and let them eat it themselves?

Because I'm sure the government could make some type of nasty pudding that had all the thing humans needed to survive in it. But would you want to eat that everyday? I know I wouldn't. Variety is the spice of life.
