i have a 2 friends who are pet shop owners and they're saying all the female's and large specimens in general are being bought up because large breeders are starting to try and create "designer morphs" similar to what has gone on with bearded dragons.

Yeah. I don't like Crested Gecko morphs. They're nothing special! I don't know why people are even bothering with all of that. They aren't coming out with any flashy colors.
i dont really care about the color as long as they love me i love them

- I think they are all good looking.What is a turn off for me is the stupid names they come up with.Dalmatian,whatever,triple chocolate dipped dalmatian with sprinkles.Lame.Its freakin spotted ,striped,red,orange,red spotted and so on.The lame names are what bugs me but the animals look nice,Im into natural herps but Ive got nothing against new morphs as long as its very easy to still acquire normals and not to loose the genes.Here is an old pic of mine,about 50 bucks.So far I think female witch is cool.Males are cheaper because everyone holds on to the females for breeding.They will have huge male sales,also if you dont mind one without a tail those are cheaper too.It dosnt matter to me,if I get a male later to breed it will be tailless.Look through kingsnake.com in that link I gave.The best thing to do is bookmark geckos,monitors,and just lizards all on separate bookmarks.Makes it fast to check weekly or however if you are looking.
In my opinion they are still way overpriced.
