How often do you crested gecko owners supplement your geckos?

I currently have the herpavite, Rep-cad with D-3 and the rephasy superpig.

I rotate on every feeding and I feed every other day. They are currently eating the crested gecko diet that is readily available in pet stores but I do have the rephasy CGD on order and should be here any day now.

I have heard good things and bad things about mixing with baby food. My first pair I got was fed the CGD mixed with baby food but they have been weaned off of it. It is ok to mix the CGD with baby food once a week or every other week for a treat?

Also they get 2 crickets once a week.

So is my feeding schedule ok? Supplementing schedule ok?

Seems like you're doing fine to me. I feed my adults Repashy crested gecko diet mixed with mango baby food 3 times a week. Twice a week I feed them dusted crickets or roaches. I've heard mixed feelings on the baby food too but I've never noticed any issues from feeding it. Mine don't really like to eat the CGD without a little baby food in it. I feed my baby cresteds CGD mixed with baby food every other day. The days in between I feed them small/pinhead dusted crickets

Thank you.

What supplements are you using? With frogs I am fine with supplementing them but the cresteds I am not sure if they are getting too much or not enough. :nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly:

Once or twice a week I'll add a little bit of Zoomeds Repti Calcium with D3 to the CGD. That's about it.

I don't supplement my cresty at all. He is entirely on cgd aside from the treat of fresh fruit one a month or so. He gets wax worms a few times a year as well but that really depends on if I have someone to share them with because he will never go through can of 25-30 worms...

I don't feed my colony baby food anymore, finally got them all off of it. Just CGD everyday and dusted crickets about once a week. For the females I add in some Rep-Cal supplement to help replenish what they lose in laying eggs. Also check the calcium sacs periodically to make sure they are all getting enough.

I just feed Repashy with only water added now. With the occasional dusted mealworm here and there.

Great pic.

So from the sounds of it I may be supplementing mine too much. I will cut back to once a week. Do they need the herpavite at all?

Thank you guys.
