Crested geckos

i was looking at a care sheet and saw that apparently you dont need a heat source for crested eckos if you have central heating in your house.my house is always warm up stairs and i have central heating.
Is thes right?
because this would save me some money!:)
 
Problem is... the definition of "warm."

They like it cold... what we consider as warm would be 90F+
 
so with normal ac in a town that gets over 100 in the summer,what do most ppl keep the stat set at?

:ROFL:when i posted here earlier i thought it was my thread,sorry to but in,lol.
 
lol. You might need a heat source, depending on how warm you house is. I know that in the winter my house wouldn't quite be warm enough so might need a little extra.
 
They like it slightly above room temperature. I would use a small heat mat. I currently use a heat lamp but it gets a bit too hot so im going to be switching the intensity of the bulb soon.
