I really want to keep a pair or trio of animals, but I wouldnt know what to

It isn't too hard to incubate eggs and leos and cresties are both easy to sell.

Both species are very easy to keep and breed. But if you want it to be easy for you to get rid of babies, cresteds are the way to go.
