put filter floss (fine) in your filter, and get a UV sterilizer, put accu-clear clarifier, also get filters like fx5 and marineland c series.

my secret is a sump with some 25-50 micron filter socks. gives you stupid clarity. i also have a diatom filter for quick water polishing.
