You know how we do.

And that tank is currently only filtered by a DIY sump (rubbermaid tub/ plastic drawer) and PVC overflows. No fancy diatom filters or micron filters. Not even an AC110 (I know. I should be ashamed of myself. Lol)
Just 2 different PVC overflows, a $5 roll of quilt batting from walmart, and some dollar scrubbies. The bottom stays clean and water column it crispy, even between WC.

My 55, if most would dare to believe it, is only filtered by two cheap HOBs. An Aqua-Tech 30-60 and an Aqueon 55. It's all about the media you use and the water changes you commit yourself to. :D
