yea idk man, I did a few searches but I can't find any pix of the "grow-out" compound. Honeslty,you should just go there...it's like $20 for the whole day, thee after that you re within range of countless fishing experiences, fresh, salt and brackish, scuba diving/snorkeling, parasailing, bungee-jumping, wind-surfing, water skiing, wake-boarding,,....my god, the list never ends. April to July is the perfect time cuz of breeding season, and the fishing is usually best before it gets too hot in the summer.

Also not a far drive too SeaWorld, Bush Gardens, Big Cat Rescue, all the Orlando Theme parks, Nature preserves, NASA Spaceport, Daytona Speedway, Natural Springs, exciting nightlife and clubs, etc......and the women......wow-E-wow, the women ;)

It's worth a trip. Not cheap, but you get MORE than your money's worth.....then you got the Florida Keys much farther south.....which is like a whole new WORLD. I saw you like to fish, but if you're also a diver, you'll be in heaven. Florida bay/Gulf of Mexico inland is crystal clear almost all the time
 
I've been there and I don't remember that pond I just want to see an actual picture of their compound not the just a google search of crocodiles. I know what the species look like

Hmmm, well I was there last in 2007, and they had it then...IIRC, it was one of the areas surrounding the pavilion/food court where you can get the big huge 32 oz. Beer in the giant white mug that says "St. Augustine Alligator Farm.

IDK, things change randomly....I remember when I was there in like 1986 and 1996, the restaurant still served popcorned gator meat and Gomek was the main attraction, then when I was there in 2007, they hadn't sold gator meat for "years" and Gomek had long since passed and was preserved by a taxidermist. Same w/ John Pennekamp Nat'l wildlife refuge in Key Largo.....Conch Fritters were the main food served at their food stand, then when I was there in 2005 apparently "Queen Conch were put on the protected list years ago"

Maybe they took everything from the compound I'm referring to and sent them to other breeding facilities or reintroduced them to the wild. You may want to try calling the office and ask to speak to the owner/manager or someone who has been there for 10 years+
