there is a hybrid now being called the diamond caimen and i've owned a nile croc very very nasty...

yeah, my lrs had a few of those once. i held one, they're some of the calmest crocodilians i've ever seen. a 15 inch caiman just sitting calmly in your hand, but still healthy.

Nah man, thats an American Crocodile. You couldn't do this with a wild salty and nobody would get that close to one in the wild willingly. This is a picture from a place in costa rica where this guy has been feeding the local crocs for tourists for years. Its a pretty controversial practice.

Lots of places hand feed crocs. It's a learned skill that isn't for everyone, nor to be used with every croc. That does look like a nile to me, but I could be wrong.
