yes fish only, do you haft to have live rock?
and do you haft to have a skimmer?
also is it as simple as just adding the correct amout of salt?

Unless you want to be spending a TON on $alt & a lot of time mixing it & doing water changes, I suggest the filtration I have stated.

does coral die easily?
does salt cost a lot?
once putting the correct amout of salt in, how long should i wait before adding fish?

puffa lover: I commend you for trying to fix the issue you are having. Sometimes, we search for the answers we want to hear instead of getting to the truth of the matter. There are always exceptions to every rule but you fish have different requirements--size vs. salt. One suggestion--instead of dropping all that money on a CRP or dragon eel, buy a bigger tank for your mbu and turn the current tank into a brackish water setup for your gsp.

Also, just wondering how the fire eel and mbu get along?...i was thinking about trying that combo.

hi, dont really have that sort of money for a 500gallon tank.
also can i use most of my tropical equipment for a marine tank? i.e. sand, and ornaments (plastic).
the fire eel i hardley never saw as it always hides in his pipe in the tank, but when he comes out to feed the puffer is very intreged and likes to get very close to him but ive never seen the bite or attack each other.

LOL, if you don't have $$$, forget about a large reef tank! Check out just the prices of the live rock you'll need.

How big is that tank again? I'd just keep the GSP in there & call it a day.

It can be somewhat of a trap as irresponsible shopkeepers sell these little guys with little care of what becomes of them afterwards. Maybe they would take it back for 1/3 of what you paid... :(
Walmart sells GSP's and the biggest tank on sale at Walmart is 20G?!?!?
Really hard to blame the consumer
