Its not very common, but asians can get DE.

It is actually pretty common. Of course not as common as Silvers, but still pretty common.

There are some easy tricks to distinguish an mature XB from an RTG.
- Pearlies: Those little scales at the root of the fins, most XBs, at least good quality ones, should have them. RTGs tend to not have pearlies, their scales at that position tend to be just dull color.
- Level of shine: Most XBs should have 6th level shine, they have that golden color up to their 6th row of scales. RTGs in most cases have color to their 4th or 5th level. Some RTGs get their shine level up to their 6th level when they are mature, but usually don't.
- Color: Even though we call them Golds, RTGs color tend to be more dull than XBs. RTGs have a golden color that tends to be more copper, and XBs gold color tends to be brighter.

Of course, this is by no means coming from an expert, so take what you want from it :)

ok thx. so it has not nothing to do with cross on its back. its the gold level of the scale. thanks very much to all.

Sorry if I mislead you. When people use the term "crossing", they mean that the shine level goes up to the 6th level (or the top scale level) of the Arowana. A simple way to tell if an Arowana color has cross is to look at it from the top. If you can see color on its back from the top, it means that it is a Cross Back. Hence why they call XBs (Cross Backs) by that name, as most of them should cross.
