just keep breeding them if you can get calico babies out of each batch thats great..

you can grow them a bit and sell them to local hobbyists and/or your lfs.. calicos can fetch a pretty penny

I'm not sure but I don't think you can get calico and browns in a same batch. Why? because the female is a regular brown and the male is a calico longfin. Unless the female has calico gene then you could possibly have a chance getting atleast 30%-40% calicos. They might too young and not color up yet.

Unless there parents have all the genes mix in them it might be possible but I doubt it

Sorry, no pics yet. I have a very old camera that doesn't pick up much detail, they just look like black marks on the zuccini By the way, the male's not a longfin. Will post pics as soon as i can get them in focus

Hmmm, it would appear that these guys have been quite busy, i have more little eggs with tails! Just out of curiosity, how big do the females have to be to breed? Surley my common couldn't have had another lot already! I have a mix of all sorts in the same tank but assumed they were all to small to do anything. Any thoughts?
