I took this baby home today for a very NICE price, its a 6.5" gold base black piranha

but

sadly, my mid size tank that was holding a flowerhorn was diseased and now that tank is under quarantine...

so

I have to stuck this monster in a 5G tank

but I didn't even know the flowerhorn was sick when I just turned on the light (it was fine last night)

I saw some Tigrinus today for $250, luckily that I didn't grab one

the filter is where most of your good bacteria live so if the filter isnt cycled then the ammonia is going to sky rocket and kill your fish
