Cruelty In All Its Glory

I agree that this fish does need a bigger tank because lazy fish don't need big tanks and active jumpy swimmers need bigger tanks to swim around in and spend energy. That fish looks like it feels it's in a small cage where it can barely swim around and do what a fish does. Oh ya and aren't cichlids messy fish and that can also vary if a fish needs a big tank or not.

Seriously needs a bigger tank. Really hate it when people tease animals just for their amusement. Gets me really angry and sad.:(

At least the water is clean....lol
To tell the truth I see big flowerhorns in small tanks all the time ex: there are 3 lfs that carry FH all of them are in tiny tanks...

Ive seen that video before. Its pretty sad. Ive also seen lots of similar videos with huge great looking blood parrots.

Cool fish, looks healthy and happy. I wonder if it was raised in that tank, water is crystal clear.

Fish looks fine to me. No more cruel than breeding short body fish and fish like parrot fish. These fish are created soley for the pleasure of man. They have no natrual purpose so its hard to talk ethics with a fish this healthy looking. A child could see a bigger tank would not hurt. Fish isnt stressed, sick or under feed.Worst could happen is fish could become deformed or stunted in some way. I thought thats what FLOWERHORN people like LOL.

I used to see tanks like that all the time when I used to do in home repair work. Most people don't realize that you shouldn't keep an oscar or pacu in a 10 or 20 gallon tank.

Good example of how tank size does not determin the max size of a fish if you do a 75% water change everyday and give it a monster filter you can grow a big fish in a small tank how ever the fish won't be very happy :irked:

Way different then breeding short body fish. A short body fish thinks and feels the same as a normal bodied fish. I see no cruelty in short bodied fish. No fish has a natural purpose in the aquarium, All fish kept in captivit are in captivity, solely for the pleasure of man. Would you keep a midas or synspilum in a tank like this? The answer is no, Well I hope that would be your answer. "Flowerhorn People"? I guess you have no idea what "flowerhorn people" like.
