Cruelty to animals

The time doesn't matter. They both suffer. I believe Ps should be fed dead stuff for the fact that no matter what you feed it, it gets torn up until it dies. The goldfish may be smaller, but it feels the same pain.

Alright first off, I suppose these P's we are talking about are Piranha's. It would be great if we could actually spell the names. Secondly, I am all for the safety of ALL animals. Third off, if some dumbf*ck wants to waste his own money on feeding fairly priced "food" to WHATEVER he wants, that is his choice. Is this any worse than the 100's or 1,000's of fish dumped in lakes/rivers because the owner was "irresponsible"? Is there some line between the fish being happy because it was released to destroy an entire eco-system and the massacre of a single purchased fish? Are feeder fish ok, but not a good looking Green Terror? Instead of survival of the fittest, our vain world has become survival of the prettiest, per say. And if the goldfish suffered, then that would be a different ballgame? Come on, stop applying rules as you see they apply.

There is balance in nature.. some get caught and some don't.. but all that hunt is for the sake of survival..if you do not eat your going to die ... a horrible hunger death... but humans who plan on watching something be eaten ... who knowingly throw the fish into the p tank for sick amusement of watching something be tortured for the shock effect on their film are no way to be compared to responcible fish keepers who feed feeders to their monster fish....simply because some fish will only eat other fish.. and the size feeder does matter at how swifly the death occurs..something to big that has to be eaten in increments is certainly going to suffer a whole lot worse then a feeder being eaten in one mouthful.. i personally hate feeding anything live to my fish.. i had to do it until they were weaned off..thats just me.

I don not want to start any wars. This was my opinion on the fact. MOST people who have posted understand the problem. Honestly it is not a one fish suffers one dosen't. They all suffer to an extent. Dropping a 7" GT in a tank full of P's is not feeding them because they have to survive. It is Simply for amusement and satisfaction of the viewers. I guarantee you the GT was taken out after he died, and the P's were still hungrey. For those who say it is his choice, I heard Mike Vick is looking for more dogs to fight now that he has killed all of his. Maybe you should offer your dog up , but of course it is your choice.

what are you talking about??

even though i don't agree with the video, why else would you own P's if you never let them eat in a similar fashion as in the wild, one of the main responsibilities as a pet owner is to simulate as much as you can some of our pets natural enviroment, and in this case this is how P's eat it aint pretty but thats the way it is, so let it be. i don't believe a GT's life is anymore important than a goldfishes in the grand scheme of things. And if the owner of the P's wants to spend 20 bucks on a single meal for HIS P's thats him, I'm sure the P's appreciate his kindness.

I am tlking about the ones who posted saying it is his choice of what he wants to film. That is the dumbest justification on why it is OK to do this.

what did you mention my dog for.. i do not believe in any animal cruelty in any way.. and if you did not understand what i said then i don't know how else to explain it.. if it were up to me all animals would never be hunted, slaughtered or abused.. but i have to remain in reality...and i am sooo sensitive that i could not watch a video like that.

You can stimulate the same reaction with a nice piece of raw bloody meat from the store or some market shrimp. You also do not have to film it and post it up for everyone if it was simply for feeding purposes.
