Bringing up the old "fish feel pain" debate really does not make a difference in the large scheme of this post...
There is no clear evidence fish feel 'pain' as we (humans) know of it. Fish are not Humans or Mammals and have separately evolved for some 400,000,000 (+ or -) years..There is no base comparison that can be used to show 'pain' in the sense you or I understand it that can be applied to fish..
Obvious avoidance stimuli is about all there is..
