when i had cc for substrate the cycling of the tank was almost complete, 1 month aprox, if i changed the substrate to aragonyte do i need to wait to cycle again?

edited last post to put specs, i´m reading alot of information on what to stock i´m not very familiar with compatible species, like almost everyone i started with FW tanks and dont know anything about SW species. Any suggestions to start with? hardy small fish?

small fish:
royal gramma, orchid dottyback, other similar basslets or dottybacks/pseudochromis.
wrasses - sixline, hoeven's, fairy wrasses
firefish, blennies, gobies, cardinals, the list is endless.
then there are the usual damsels and chromis, but i dont like em much.
i think a trio or more of regal or yellow tang would look killer in that tank.

define small? there are some hardy medium/large fish you could go with
raccoon and threadfin butterflys aren't very hard.. you could save some room for them.. or was this going to be a reef?

and as for the rock... is the tank cycled yet? you could just add some dry rock for like 1/3 of the cost

no, it wasnt going to be a reef its meant to be FOWLR, when i had cc for substrate it was almost cycled, but i guess that when i changed the substrate to aragonyte i have to start all over again.

not necissarily, but you may see a minicycle if the aragonite wasn't already live
