I posted this at AC but i still need to rant sooooo im gonna post here as well:D

I went up north to our cabin for the weekend and asked my sister to watch my house. Some of you know "piggy" my Giant gourami. Piggy doesnt like anybody to get too close to his tank and he really doesnt like people to put their finger up to the front panel(i say panel because its acrylic). He will try to bite at it.
It seems someone stood in front of the 240 acrylic and tormented my GG until he bit the front panel enough to cause massive damage(huge scratches) to it. I just set this 240 up a few months ago. It took me two weeks to sand/buff the tank so it was as perfect as i could make it(used 240)before i set it up. Now i have to deal with this and all i got was a "sorry i didnt know he had teeth" and "sorry i didnt know he did that" and "scratches? what scratches?" WTF!!! I look at this tank alll day every day, did they think i wouldnt notice? here is a pic of what i looked at every day and then what i have to look at now, i'll post a full shot after pic later when im done calming myself. As for the title of this thread? Should i puke or cry or both?

damn man that sucks.. it did look nice and you GG look awesome.
Thank you. Im going to sand the scratches out AGAIN but:swear: its alot of work AGAIN......

It sucks, but personally it doesn't look that bad. Then again, I have used cardboard for a top before. Ghetto I guess. It just wouldn't warrant me to buff the thing again for some scratches. If I was moving or I needed to make a new stand and it had to be drained then yes, but otherwise....meh. It does suck though.

Theres no way im leaving those scratches on my tank. no way. I cant look at my tank without seeing them and the more i see them the more i want to sand right now...:nilly:

wow those are some scratches...but always nice to see the big guy again

You may want to think of getting a glass tank. Likely this could happen again.
