Hard to be for sure since the pics and vids are not real clear. However from what I can see it does not look like a pure sajica. It's to long bodied, it's face is not shaped correctly and it's colors are off. Better pictures would help.

ok i thought so...

It is not a C. sajica not a typical one at least, to me it looks like a Cryptoheros septemfasciatus.

Hard to tell from the video

Here's my 2 cents. The fish in your pictures and videos has too much yellow to be a "normal" morph Sajica and the black blotch is too big and centered to indicate the T bar of the species. It also looks a little differeant than any Cutteri I've seen. Nice fish either way.
Here are some pictures of my stock that I'll leave up to you to decide. Last picture is a "yellow" or "gold" Sajica, a little blury, hard tank to picture, but shows the colors and markings well.

JD or Cava,

Do you think it could be C. septemfasciatus?

Septemfasciatum, this strain from Costa Rica.

Very nice, do the males get the red coloration on the flanks similar to the one Rapps has pictured in his gallery?

Do you know what the collection point was in Costa Rica?
Will you have 3/4"-1" juvies available in march/april? I may have to add those to my order

Maybe a little red in the fins, but nothing on the flanks. I wont have any fry, I just have the female in pictures 2 & 3. The mlae in pic 1 had a deformity and had to be euthanized.
