Crystal red shrimp ?

No it is illegal. CRS's are illegal in Hawaii, but people have them anyways. You can try to ship the shrimps and they will probably get through to you. Same principal as people shipping weed through the mail. Most get through but some do get caught/confiscated. But if you get caught your shrimps will be confiscated and you will probably have to pay a fine. A month or so back people were getting busted on forums hawaii and craigslist for selling CRS and other shrimps. That's why you don't see them being offered that much anymore. Though some guy on forums hawaii got away with selling his crystal blacks just recently. He made a post and orginally didn't offer them for sale in that post. Only much later he offered them for sale without really advertising them in the title. You had to look through the post to actually see they were for sale. For a while you could even find them for sale in a couple LFS's on the island. If you know people or know where to look they are pretty easy to find and we got some really high grades here on the island. RCS are legal pretty much because the streams are infested with them and are outcompeting the native opae kala'ole. The feeder shrimp most LFS's sale are RCS reverted back to their natural/original colors.
