What makes you think that? the old O is certainly the oldest of them all. I'd say 7-8 years. By comparison, other fishes are youngsters

PS: granted attempt at adding a second albino tiger O (donation from LFS) ended up some cat's meal (though it was considerably smaller) - to this day i don't know which ate the new arrival (though i have my suspicions)
 
And then the algae came off - well most of it. Still difficult to take pictures due to glare and reflection but at least a different view of them kittens ^^

gonna get something live treats for them tomorow - don't know what yet... or just stick with chopped up fish

Hehehe when i first got them RTCs i thought the O would snack on them ... how the roles have reversed. Still if they were gonna eat the O, i think they have done so by now. In any case, i don' think O quite fits comfortably in their mouths, the O that was eaten was considerably smaller. There is another guy on this forum with Os and giant RTCs living together ... so it is not unheard of ^^

man i LOVE these latest pics. can see everything so clearly!!! i laugh everytime i see ure marble. HE IS HUGEEEEEEE and FATTTTT! like oprah! I repeat: He is the fattest and largest marble i have seen - period! looks amazing bro. maybe he needs to go on the "jenny craig" diet plan :p

Thanks bro. ....... i really want to add plecos to combat algae but afraid on the sucking slime thing (yes, i am aware that you got loads of plecs in your pond, but my last common pleco was sucking on everybody). The magnet thing is hard work on thick glass - so i clean one side at the time only.

Damn, marble is almost on par lengthwise (longer if you extend whiskers) - nowhere near the fatness of RTCs though ^^ how i wish i still had the other one still - they would have been a team from hell to harrass RTCs i recon.

Now that you have seen how large marble go - isn't it time for you to get one? Grow a new one out with your green aro. They grow lightning fast bro

PS: now that RTCs learnt to eat from surface (whenever food strikes surface) he is not dominant no more - cos other cats home in quite precisely on the slash. Memories: paimas were unstoppable when it came to hunting shrimp pieces - very precise strickes with shotgun sound effect - no prawns for nobody else
 
Wow, very nice. I haven't seen pic's of your fish for a long time. They are looking great. Definatelly have grown. What is the size of you setup and how many gallons. Look's very good.
