I'm leaving rainy England on Monday for the warmer weather of Cuba for two weeks woooohoooo. The reason for this trip is my friend is getting married and I'm best man. I've never been to Cuba before so has anyone around here been and has anyone got any tips on things to do or see.

No tips other than to get some good cigars but I thought yours was one of the countries that imposed an embargo and forbid its citizens from traveling to Cuba.

Went few years ago, check out the dolphin swim, you can go out on boat for a few hours and watch the dolphins then on to a floating fish farm snd swim with them, makes a good afternoon. Also try and get to taste sum of the fruit growing over there, sounds a bit strange but when you taste it your know wot im on about.

No advice needed. You go exactly on the framework for the poo to hit the fan.

And said poo is all around in that most beautifull of places.

Enjoy and do not get married yourself :)

Yep. Only the states have restrictions.

Clears that up...I was under the impression that a few others countries had it as well as the States...Even if you are not a smoker try to get some cigars.I imagine real "Cubans" would make great gifts for those who do.

I will be getting some cigars I don't smoke but I still have to grab a few. The dolphin swim is a happening my girlfriend has already made her plans for that lol. The fish farm and sounds awesome I think I'll look into that. What fruit is there to try? Yeah I was told about their issue with the states apparently they won't change American money or accept American card's. I don't know what they did but they must have really upset them.

They will change american money at every corner. Dollars is what they want and at great rates.

But beware who you change it to. Police are everywhere and some even try to change money with you.

You do not want to end up in a cuban prison.

Enjoy!

After we went on boat trip, we visited a village and they was growing pineapples, oranges, bananas cut fresh from the trees, the taste was unreal unlike the rubbish with have imported into uk
