Cuban cichlid Male or Female

I've got a breeding pair with an older female that looks bigger than the one pictured in the first post and it's not 7-8".

But it's hard to tell the actual size from your pictures.

this fish was next to 12+ inch midas's and FH and a 13 inch jag and it was arounf half the size of the jag

i measured too and it is about 7 1/2 in

well I bought him and this cuban is getten along with my 4in cuban so i will see what happens
