No offense intended but it seems like you and AQUAMONSTER are very impatient with your fish. give them a chance and they will more than likely surprise you. And as mentioned earlier, separate the male and let him bulk up a bit. because he has a larger potential size than the female i dare say he will grow slightly faster than her so you probably wont have to wait too long. Just feed him a good diet
jags, devils, and an evil texas pair , whe i throw other species in the tank the same species tend to help eachother out or pair up with eachother as a territorial thing idk how to explain it but why do u think so many people fishes pair up in community tanks
