Cuban cichlid?

Here's my cuban cichlid- not sure if its a male or female (time will tell)

My money is on it being a Female cuban.

If anybody is in SoCal, I have a pair of Cubans that keeps breeding in a community tank. I usually don’t save the fry, but will pull some out if anybody is interested. In the last couple days, I just had some go from wiggles to free swimming.

This looks male to me. Although the substrate is so bright white it would make most cichlids wash out.
Here is a female. Note the solid dark markings

It's a Cuban. Give it time to grow.
