Here are the ideas I had for the 90 and my thoughts:

Victorian - love them, but was having problems finding the ones I want at a decent price
What Vics are you looking for? I have some Fulu fry that should be ready soon, and will have Nyererei within a month (I also have a few extra adult males I need to rehome). You could also check out Aquabid.com for a good Selection of Victorians, I current have 5 different species of Victorians that I am breeding and all of them came from Aquabid. Not to derail your thread or turn you away from the Cuban pair if you are set on them, but I try to encourage anyone who is interested in Victorians to keep and breed these fish due to the fact that many of them will one day become extinct in the wild.

i dont know about a pair but i grew out a few cubans to 5-6in one time and tank was set up pretty much the same as yours, PFS and black tinted back ground, they were never washed out and always had great color. they were quite feisty though so i dont know if a full grown pair would get along in a 90g, you could try it though and just make sure that there are plenty of spaces for the female to get away from the male should things go awry

The only ones i have been able to find are Zebra Obliquidens and the occasional Sp. 44. Fulu are sweet. I like Nyererei as well. Sooner or later I will set up a Victorian tank. For now, I want to something other than Africans. I already have Tang and Malawi show tanks. Kudos to you for breeding them. You are correct on their plight in the wild.

I will build some vision blocks so she can get out of his line of vision. I was with my brother when he got them from a non-MFK hobbyist. He said they had mated before. I am envisioning a loving and peaceful cohabitation with absolutely no aggression. Of course, I have been wrong before.....but only once.

I got the Cubans tonight and put them in the 90. They have been in that about an hour and seem to be getting acclimated pretty well. I tried to take a picture, but both the batteries for my camera are dead. I will get some and start a media thread for them like my other tanks.
