I talked to one of our other stores who has dealt with the company, they were selling them for between 50 to 100 bucks depending on size (6-12").

the few that were imported into the US in the past couple years went for between $250-350. there were only 7 within that order, and it's been unclear as to how many (if any) have come in since that time. ...they are much more available in Singapore and other parts of SE Asia, but for the US (ironically, given our proximity to Cuba), they are the rarest species in the hobby, with the tropical gar a very close second--

EDIT: it should also be noted that the above-mentioned inviduals were pretty decent sized fish, some almost 17". it would be great to get some smaller or medium sized inviduals at a moderate price
