What's their growth rate from a fry? Any tips on getting them to grow fast? Also if I keep an adult cuban with dats ranging from 5" to 8" will they try to eat/beatup my dats? Thanks.

sorry can't help with your dat question but as far as getting them big quick just feed regularly. i feed mine a couple of pellets every couple of hours.

there's a difference between over feeding a regular feeds if it's gut is full obviously stop feeding LOL

They will get territorial against your dats. But wont over do it unlesss they are paired. Feed regularly. But they grow pretty slow for cichlids. ive had mine from a fry and shes only 4.5 inches. and ive had her for a while feeding massivore and hikari carnivore pellets. . thats all she likes

They grow slow with optimal conditions, and even slower otherwise. They don't do well under 4", and bloat very easily from varying factors. Very outgoing fish. Get along better with other fish, but absolutely hate their own kind.
