IDk argentea are pretty sexy fish lol. But they were united with the female midas in the tank although she proved to be a little to big and bad even for the pair. Here is a quick video I posted a while of the two pinning the female midas in a corner of the tank.

I have been searching for like a pair of JD's or freds to house with them temporarily but something like that is hard to find. Hopefully they work things out I really do not want to get rid of them. They are awesome fish.

Maybe you could try a mirror at one end of the tank. Maybe he'll think there's another Texas in there with them. Or, put another tank next to them with other big cichlids, if space permits.

Yes they are. They are a bit bigger now. Male is turning into a tank.
