Cubans, Bahamas, or Green anoles?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd say maybe 3, 2 females and a male. They mostly spend time in low branches but come to ground level more often then greens do.

Cubans can also be refering to browns. Common names should not be used for most anoles because there are so many different kinds. Cuba has many species and the Bahamas have many species therefore these names arent very accurate. Anolis sagrei is commonly known as the Bahaman, Cuban, and Brown anole hence the confusion. Cuban Knight Anoles are Anolis equestris. Not trying to start anything just trying to clear some things up.

Your right, there are numerous speices of anoles and the best way to go by them is the scientific name. The 2 most common anoles you'll ever run across in US pet stores are the green and the brown.

Are there any other non-anole lizards that can be kept for life in this tank?

I was thinking of gold dust day geckos (Phelsuma laticauda)...if i can find them?

I'd like a larger bodied lizard if possible.

Thanks
