looking to get a cube tank or a used reef set up. i like 24"x24"x24" dimensions on the cube. non cubes i would like to keep things around 50-75 gallons.

budget is negotiable but since this is my first possible venture into Saltwater i'd like to keep it sane first before i decide whether i want to drop more coin into this.

shoot me a pm with what you have (complete list of specs like filter, tank, stand, light, filtration etc.), where you are located in socal, what your asking price is, and pictures. must have pictures or else i can't really tell what i am getting myself into.

i am in socal 92707. thanks.

There's a member selling a 4x2x2 120 g tank. SoCalKoi

120 gal. (48x24x24) visio glass

asking $220 for tank w/lids, AC110 filter, a heater and some gravel...
tank condition - scale from 1 -10 (tank is a 8/9...cuz its used)
located in Carson, 90745
:D

John (John7429) is going to help me out set-up a salt water tank. I'm going to use the 75g set-up that I have.

BUMP for you.

Eventually, but for now just some basic stuff. My lady looked at the tank and said it would look nice inside the house :headbang2. First tank inside the house.

hehe cool man!
gotta meet up sometime on this. i'm actually wondering if i should just convert my 100 gallon into a reef set up. would make a lotta sense i think!
get a smaller tank for the xenos.

Try to get glass that's drilled... It'll help with heat issues.

if you're staying simple, get aio setup... I still have the 25g cube (18") if you can't find what you're lookin for..

you got any pics of the cube, john?

bro I got a complete 12g jbj nano setup for sale. I also have a nano skimmer and a 30" light if you decide to upgrade to a 29g tank. PM me if you are interested

Tein, stay away from those small 12g. Nanos. They'll be too small in about a week of staring at it! You'll upgrade anyway. Besides, smaller tanks have less room for error and your system will crash. Go with the 90 gallon tank that I suggested, the 3x2x2 foot print is awesome and it's a standard size for light fixtures. Order one new and drilled for bulkheads, plumbed for diffusers and over flow equiped from Charlie at Fishtankfactory.
