I’ve got a 48x30x30 180 that I’m looking for ideas for. It used to be a FOWLR tank but I’m going freshwater. I was going to just make it a big k1 filter for my rays, but.....
Most of what I like need more real estate like peacock bass/umbee/dovii.
Possible ideas (not together) are Midas, puffers, wild Discus, exodons, pile of driftwood and plecos.
Please give me some ideas for that foot print!

I personally like the WC Discus but a pair.

How about a siren tank?
Or a setup with: mudpuppies, sculpins and as a centerpiece fish: a Flier

Pleco tank or angelfish tank will be nice.

Pleco breeding group of something in the 12_15" range would be good. I've been looking at l24 lately, I just prefer them to l25. Or sunshine plecos? Magnum pleco or a massive group of bulldog plecs.
You could have a serious go at breeding something special zebras, l095.
I've never had a pleco tank, it sounds enticing to me.
