Don't ever do that!!!

I've seen some posts by ignorant ppls saying you can cull your fish painlessly by putting em in freezers. wtf??? was there a fish that can talk and said it very comfortable getting frozen while trying to breath but cant?? That's got to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard of in the fish keeping. So you just grab a fish and throw it in the freezer assuming it's painless for them just because YOU HEARD so??

That's one of the worse ways to die. Sufficating from not breathing and slowly tortured to death by the extreme cold.. Im just so angry thinking about such a dumb thing someone can believe in. Poor fishes in heaven that had to go through that.

If only fish can talk they'll tell you the truth. I dont know if this stupid rumor came from scientists' studies or what, but even if it did, I still cannot agree. Scientists cannot feel what the fishes feel.
We are the same kind and we can understand our kinds and express what we feel. Fishes can not tell us anything. They have to suck up what we assume about them.

What is a good way?

Anything snappy. I'd say blow it up with explosion, but that's not always accessable.

For frys, I have a good way for small ones that can fit through the mouth of a beer bottle or such.

bottle instruction:
put water in the bottle for the fish.
Put the fish in.
Stick your thumb in the hole to have it deep air tight and just flick your thumb out with some suction power from the air tight hole.
Once you flicked that thumb, the fish is upside down in the bottle and soul up in heaven. Now that's quick and snappy. hehe. Bet ya didn't know that.

For bigger fish. I put it in a strong bag and give it a killing swing to the concrete. I make sure I give no hesitation on my swing. Don't wanna have to do it the second time. Sucks for the fish if it don't die the first.

Pls don't freeze your fish to death. That's torture.

I have dropped fish in Iced Salt Water. Fry don't even twitch when they hit the water. I would put all the FlowerHorn fry in iced salt water if I could. And then stir it with my thumb of death.

you don't even need ice. Just water full of salt will paralyze your fish. It's like a person gettin shocked. All muscles tightens and looks like they stiff frozen.

I believe that too much salt causes tissues to burst. That sounds painful.

Lots of ice + little water + lots of salt + stir with thumb of death = Water Temperature below freezing.
