Here's one of mine

Without wanting to muddy the waters, calling any fish by its common name (in this case Texas cichlid) is generally misleading.

Their from the Family Herichthys, so keep an eye out for any of these,

Herichthys bartoni Bean, 1892
Herichthys carpintis Jordan & Snyder, 1899
Herichthys cyanoguttatus Baird & Girard, 1854
Herichthys deppii Heckel, 1840
Herichthys labridens Pellegrin, 1903
Herichthys minckleyi (Kornfield & Taylor, 1983)
Herichthys pantostictus Taylor & Miller, 1983
Herichthys pearsei Hubbs, 1936
Herichthys steindachneri Jordan & Snyder, 1899
Herichthys tamasopoensis Artigas Azas, 1993

Have a google on the names, there will be absolutely tons in holland, with plenty of Herichthys fans i know of. Its a real hotbed for fish at the minute.

Pantos are a favourite of mine. Cracking breeding colours.

Thanks for the names...

It took me months of searching, phoning around and trying to get special orders to find any. I could never find the true tex (sorry its not the scientific name) but went with the carpintes instead.
